Twist again

I love the twister. I've never built turntables because they seem so complicated, but the Twister takes the guesswork out. It's quick and really easy. Before you jump into a real project, experiment with some notesโ€”there's a learning curve with placement.

Pros
  • 8Transparent acrylic angle with non-slip feet and black guides
Cons
  • boring packaging

Twister Fun

This is a really fun math wonder. If you follow the instructions carefully, you will end up with a beautiful patchwork bodice that looks a lot more complicated than it looks using this method. The finished bodice has an integrated border and intricate patterns. An important note: the top of the quilt should be treated as brittle since most cuts are made at an angle. I've had good results using masking tape before using the template for my cuts. It looks like the designer is a geometry genius!

Pros
  • Twister Tool - a tool for making spinners easily
Cons
  • weak

Remove all those nasty little bits!

Great item. I've always loved patchwork quilts but never dared to do them. That is, until now. This little tool makes working with turntables easier. You cut your quilt with a square of a certain size (this is described in the instructions). Then line up the cross (on the tool) with the seams and cut the tool. Turn this cut out square right side out (so it becomes a regular square again) and sew these cut out squares together in the same order they were cut from the original piece. (Trust meโ€ฆ

  • Also includes instructions and quilting pattern
