Great little bag but wouldn't count on it being waterproof. It might be fine for short, light rain, but I wouldn't trust it for heavy or sustained rain. I use it as a quick emergency shelter and cover it with a tarp to keep out the rain. It goes well with my scooter and the red handles are great for positioning. Imagine you are trying to put on school pants. That's how putting on this case on my Vespa LX150 was. I have a trunk in the back and silver mirrors.
