I have used this tape for many years to bandage my feet for plantar fascia. It breathes and does not burn because it is flexible. I have used many types of ankle bands. This is my absolute favourite. It was difficult to learn how to apply at first because it easily bends and folds as you try to glue it. It's also great for making your own patch, perfect for the size of the injury.
