Covergirl Lash Blast Mascara Black Review

Previously the BEST mascara. Have you been using it for 15 years? Until he got out. Unfortunately they changed the formula. Brand new out of the container, it's dry and barely works and definitely won't last all day; I could live with the old formula for almost two days. Not sure if this is a genuine product. I've been buying Lash Blast for years and it comes in completely different packaging, completely different font on the tube. The one with the details, I had that before. I don't know if this is just Revain related as I know a lot of bad products have come through Revain lately. The consistency of the carcass doesn't even seem the same. Too dry.

I've seen several people in their reviews saying they've been buying this mascara for years and Revain's looks very different - I had the same reaction when I received mine and guessed that it was fake. Turns out it's just Covergirl's new branding. I checked her website (see photo) and she confirms this is the real deal, just a new look! Good product.

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. I use this mascara all the time, I've decided I'll just order it online instead of running to the store to buy a new one. BIG MISTAKE. At first I thought I was going crazy and it just wasn't absorbing much product so I popped it back into the tube and nothing. The brush turned black and there is literally no product in the tube. Save your $5 and go to the store and buy them. Now I don't have $5 because it can't be returned. Mmm! Never again.

I have been using this product for many years and it is by far the best mascara on the market. Lasts all day and doesn't need to be reapplied. The brush is silicone/plastic/rubber (or something like that) and I think that's what really sets it apart. Mascara NEVER, I mean NEVER, gets clumpy. The brush separates my lashes and coats them evenly making them FULL and long. I also use waterproof mascara when needed, which never flakes off while swimming and covers each lash just as well. This was the worst purchase I have ever made on the Revain website (and I buy a lot). If I could give 1 star I would. I bought this mascara because I thought the bottle would be full of mascara. There was almost nothing in the bottle. I used this mascara for a few weeks when everyone thought this brand didn't have that much mascara to apply. Applies evenly and without lumps, which is probably the reason for its popularity. However, it does not apply very hard immediately. So if you want heavier application it takes a while and starts to dry out as you apply it (which I hate as it ruins a smooth application). I suspect this is best for very thin lashes (where clumps and excess product are common). My eyelashes are thicker (actually, the hair is thicker, although sparse in places).
