My first car cover and I chose it because of the price. My use does not require expensive car coverage. Basically, I want to protect my car from pine straw, leaves, pollen and rain. The cap is put on and taken off frequently. This is lightweight and easy to put on and take off. If it lasts a few years I'll be happy. Those looking for protection from falling branches, cones, hail should look elsewhere. I don't think it's thick enough to offer much protection. .
