Coway Airmega AP-1512HHS air purifier is designed to accommodate room sizes up to 325 square feet. Coway Airmega AP-1512HHS True HEPA and Activated Charcoal Filters capture and reduce up to 99. 97% of particles 0. 3 microns in the air, including pollen, pollutants and other allergens. It also reduces more than 90% of volatile organic compounds and reduces fumes such as NH3 and CH3CHO. And it comes with a washable and permanent pre-filter to catch larger dust particles. Works with Coway IoCare mobile application which includes indoor and outdoor air quality monitoring, filter notification, scheduling, and speed and smart mode control. Works with Alexa. Ask Alexa about the indoor air quality, or to change the fan speed. You can also set up smart reorders through the Alexa app for filters, to keep your purifier running at its best. Pollution sensor communicates indoor air quality in real-time. Brightly colored LED lets you know how clean or dirty your indoor air is every minute of the day. Also features a timer and a filter-lifetime indicator. Energy efficient air purifier with three manual fan speeds plus Auto mode. Auto mode automatically optimizes the fan speed based on the level of indoor air quality. When no pollution is detected for 30 minutes, the fan will automatically stop and enter Eco mode to save energy. Timer feature allows device to run 1/4/8 hours before automatically powering off. 80-watt power consumption and quiet operation with noise level range from 24. 4 dB to 53. 8 db.

WiFi works. for HEPA air purifier

I wanted to give it 1 or 2 stars because like the other reviewers the wifi didn't work. I have sent an email to Coway Support (from the Coway website). They replied to me within 1 day and gave me various recommendations. I made two. 1) I turned off the air purifier for more than 5 minutes. 2) I put my iPhone in airplane mode, so NO LTE. 3) Then follow the instructions of the io app. It was a really fast connection. Now I know when to clean or change the filter.

It doesn't need access to photos or contacts to work.

Some features require a mobile app. However, the mobile app won't install unless you give it access to your photos and contacts. Why the hell does he need access to it?!? Can be loud at higher levels but fairly quiet at lower levels. However, I would have bought a cheaper model if I knew I wouldn't have access to things like air quality information or home automation integration.

OK Air Purifier Out of Order WiFi Loud Fan

It cleans the air but doesn't expect to connect to the home WiFi. We have a 3-part EERO matrix system that covers the home and garden. All of our devices, phones, iPads, laptops, computers, smart switches, Alaxa. etc. etc. etc. Plugging in and replugging if necessary, but not the two Conway air purifiers we have. Their service entry couldn't help and had no idea how to help. They referred the problem to an engineering group in Korea. The app needs a lot of work to be useful and the fan systemโ€ฆ

Very Good - HEPA Air Purifier

Works great. I like the multiple modes and the cleaning sensor is very sensitive. We use it in the room with all our litter boxes. It uses an air sensor to detect when one of them goes into the bathroom and turns the fan up a little to clean the air. I noticed a dramatic improvement in air quality. Had to change the coarse filter once. A regular HEPA filter that you have to pay to replace is still 97% owned after a few months. Once you can connect it to Wi-Fi, the app becomes very useful. Iโ€ฆ

Excellent air filter, excellent pre-cleaner and activated carbon filter system

Many good quality filters are similar in many ways. What sets it apart is the easy-to-clean dust pre-filter and activated carbon secondary filter. The pre-filter is a fine-meshed material. The "Filter" indicator lights up when it starts to block. A quick flush with a garden hose and you have a cistern. Dry it when it's off, install it again and press the 'Reset Filters' button - DONE. The carbon filter is actually a honeycomb filled with high-quality activated carbon granules. This means thatโ€ฆ

Smart features are not just a gimmick!

Let's start with the bad: The setup is not very fun. The IOCare application is buggy and you have to run it multiple times before it works. You also need a 2.4 GHz WiFi network at home (the device does not support 5 GHz). But if you have it and have a bit of stamina, you can make it work. I believe in you. Just keep trying. hp Don't sign up for IOCare with Google, use your email address and create a password instead. Now for the good: This is by every measure the air purifier that the AP-1512HH
