My Favorite Color Wheel

I paint with acrylics and watercolors and work a lot with colored pencils and have used a pocket rainbow color picker as a reference for a number of years. I finally realized I needed something with more shades and values for each color so I decided to order this. I'm so happy I did this because I LOVE this color wheel. The front shows shades and the back shows shades printed in VIBRANT, True Color on glossy paper. It's not the most durable wheel (fairly flexible - wish it was printed on book…

Great wheel!

As far as color wheels go, they're pretty good. It's not too small, 9.25 inches, and has a spinning wheel on either side showing combinations of complements, divided complements, and triads. The color(s) on one side becomes lighter and on the other side the shades become darker. Sometimes I get stuck in a design and it just seems to break the color block and get me moving again. The wheel is a good weight and my only concern is that the spinning wheels might catch on something and come off, but

ATTENTION TO THE BUYER! It's CHEAPLY made.

I bought this product hoping I could use it for a summer drawing class with my kids. After receiving it I know I need to look elsewhere for a durable product that can stand up to children. My color wheel arrived damaged (badly bent) in a flat box! This means that the person who put it in the box bent the already fragile product during transit.
