I love the colors and the size. But I'm not sure if it's 100% cotton. I would expect it to be softer if it were. But the material is very dense and smooth. Almost more like a polyester or microfiber blend. Washed right out of the bag and still stiff when it came out of the dryer. Washable with fabric softener and dryer sheet. Bought a lightweight duvet to replace a worn one that didn't fit our freshly painted room at all. I knew immediately that everything would be perfect! Duvet is exact in color and thickness the figure. It's thin enough for summer and I think it will be good for winter. I like quilts as their weight adds warmth without adding bulk. I love this comforter. It seems to be of very good quality and just the right weight for what I was looking for in a summer quilt. I chose four different quilts and then I let my husband choose his favorite and this one was the winner. Look closely at the picture as the celadon color is actually green and there are small flowers in almost every stripe.
