1 year update to below: I finally machine washed it on sanitary mode in a high end machine and, to my happy surprise, it came out clean and intact -nothing fell apart. I bought the charcoal color for my husband as a gift. As you can see in the image he loves it. soft to the touch . When washing its light and delicate some of the fur does fall off a bit . And dry gentle. Regardless he approved. 😊

Bought this for a small dog, a very spoiled small dog who gets cold in the winter. It's super soft and my hubby was a wee bit envious when we got it. I bought this with the intention of using it as a couch blanket. It is very warm, especially when layered, yet breathable and is quite soft on both sides even after multiple washes (blue side is just as vivid a shade of blue as the day I bought it too). I like how soft and beautiful the blanket is, however the pattern goes in the wrong direction. I purchased a twin in the red reindeer print and a twin in the black checkered moose print. Both have the pattern running in the wrong direction. I plan to use these on beds and feel that it looks very odd this way. The photo on Best Buy shows the print running the other direction.
