Useful for immobilizing injured bones resulting from trauma damage, as well as soft tissue injuries during first aid emergencies. Lightweight, and is made with aluminum covered in foam that, depending on the medical situation, you can mold this into multiple shaped curves. In order to accomidate a variety of limb sizes, this splint can be folded, or even cut down to whatever size suits the victim. No matter how it's customized this splint remains sturdy while in use during first aid or trauma related emergencies, so that the injured bone is properly immobilized. Great tool for emergencies

When I tried this product during a training, I was impressed by its ease of use and effectiveness. The clear audio and visual prompts make it easy for anyone to administer life-saving CPR.The device is compact enough to keep in any workplace first-aid kit. However the price point may be a bit steep for smaller businesses who may not need it as frequently. Overall, a solid addition to any Occupational Health & Safety Products in Industrial and Scientific category..

Pros
  • Easy to use with visual and audio prompts for correct placement and compression depth
Cons
  • Requires regular replacement of batteries and pads, adding to ongoing cost

Great item for a first aid kit.

This SAM splint is a great tool for your fitness kit. It can be adapted to different limbs and can be adjusted to fit different heights of people. This is a must have for my medical bag on the field in case of an injury.

Pros
  • It is used to immobilize bones damaged by injury as well as damage to soft tissues during first aid.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
