Great Tool: my feedback

Great tool. Have been using it heavily to cut branches off trees in my yard as well as small trees. Have had no issues and this thing makes the job so much easier and I dont have to drag out a power saw anymore. Blades are still sharp. I have even been able to cut off branches larger than this tool is rated for by cutting around the branch in a circle with the tool and then giving a final big squeeze once I get all the way around to cut through what remains of the middle. Would definitely…

Pros
  • I trimmed a lot of large limbs , some as large as 1 inch .It worked well.
Cons
  • The price is relatively expensive when compared to other similar models, making it less accessible to some consumers

Flimsy blade for my opinion

Cutting blade deformed the first time I used it to cut some redwood tree branches, consequently the jaws wouldn't close enough to complete the cut. The Craftsman name didn't mean quality in this case.

Pros
  • Very sharp and have leverage.
Cons
  • The handles don't feature any padding or ergonomic shaping, which could cause discomfort during extended use
