I have used a Harbor F Chief angle grinder and despite the difference in performance in favor of the Chief I think this grinder is better. This grinder is slightly longer so it's easier to hold and the rubberized lid gives you more grip. Although they are heavier than the chef on the scale, they feel the same on my hands. Most of my tool comparisons always include some of the early air powered tools and some of my later and better Ingersoll Rand tools. This Craftsman is definitely upstairs next to my Ingersoll Rand.
