Very powerful! for power tools

I bought this to replace an 18 volt drill I sold almost 20 years ago. There wasn't enough electricity to install a dog guard in my hallway. For years everyone told me it wasn't very good, but I didn't care, I used it around the house, hanging curtains and other small household items. Great deal and appears to be a quality drill.

So far I've only used it to drill 4 holes in the TV stand. Not really much use but appears to be working well and no signs of problems. I spent some time playing with this to really clean the holes thoroughly. What can I say, the battery still shows full so I don't understand how a reviewer discharged the battery in 13 holes. Possibly a bad battery. Personally, I don't think battery life is an issue here. This drill bit is pretty cheap, I bought a 53 piece set (drill plus bits) for $75. I can't
