Terrible balance on hand tools

After about two seconds I realized I couldn't use this master hammer. 99 percent of the weight was on my head, so I knew it would be really hard on my wrists to use it all day at work. I immediately sent it back and bought a 20 ounce Estwing Hammer with a leather handle. I love it! It was worth the extra cost and the balance is great.

Pros
  • Solid build
Cons
  • Damaged

Craftsman still make quality products

I needed a hammer and was glad to see that Craftsman is still in business, although I fear for the future of Sears (does Sears still own them?) This hammer screams longevity and reliability. I have a feeling that like most handyman tools I've collected over the years, it will be in my toolbox long after I've used it.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

This is a master, the best you can buy!

It was very bad when the best hammer in our house belonged to my lady of the house. Bought this hammer for my husband. He said it like a big hammer, especially when I didn't understand anything about hammers. It's beautiful and heavy, and Craftsman can't do better.

Pros
  • tools and housewares
Cons
  • unreliable

Terrible Balance: Power and Hand Tools

About two seconds later I realized I couldn't use this Craftsman hammer. 99 percent of the weight was on my head, so I knew it would be very hard on my wrists to use it all day at work. I immediately sent it back and bought a 20 ounce Estwing Hammer with a leather handle. I love it! It was worth the extra cost and the balance is great.

Pros
  • Hammers
Cons
  • So Far So Good
