Car stalled and would intermittently not start. There was a P0320 code and the crank sensor is the #1 cause from what I've read. Installation was painful but not as bad as I thought it would be. It's been 2 or 3 weeks, still no problems, but before that it gave me problems every day.

Ordered when my Laredo 04 started getting weird power surges, both while driving and idling. I've already replaced the camshaft sensor and all the sensors on the throttle body, but it's still buzzing. The crankshaft sensor could be replaced with the same success, lo and behold, the problem was solved! A little tedious, it took about 30 minutes. The good part seems well done. would recommend

The ad/listing did not indicate if this was for a 2001 Wrangler TJ with an automatic or manual transmission. I have a manual gearbox, so this sensor is not suitable for my car. Given the time constraints, I had to purchase the correct item at my local auto parts store for over $100. A more thorough list could have saved me a lot of time and money.

Replacing the crankcase sensor in your WJ is a hassle. The easiest way is to support the primordial trance, unscrew the crossbar and lower the primordial trance. I bought a cheaper sensor and after 2 weeks it started going haywire. So I bought this and found my engine was misfiring and shutting down which is why I was driving. Since the crankcase position sensor is very difficult to reach, you will need to lower the gearbox to get to it. You only want to do this once. So buy this product and…
