As an art teacher, I love heavy paper colored pencils. They are bright and add variety, breaking the monotony of "normal" pen colors. My student mainly uses them to create scratch art (drawing ink over a pencil). Colors really pop and stay vibrant, unlike the usual classes. Consider adding this class to your materials!

Okay, they look a little weird because the colors in their packaging are milky. When you use them on medium to dark paper you will see their splendor. The colored pencil has an opaque base (which is probably why it appears milky), which makes the colors really pop on darker paper. The colors are similar to oil pastels, but the colored pencils don't smudge.

I bought this activity set to give out to my students during our distance learning class. I systematically reviewed one of each color and placed in ziplock bags along with glue sticks, dry erase markers, etc. 25 pieces of each color should have given me exactly what I needed. As can be seen from the images, some colors were superfluous while others were few; I can't make a complete set for the last bag.
