Olay Total Effects Face Moisturizer + Touch of Foundation: Ultimate Hydration and Flawless Coverage, 1.7 fl oz Review

I ordered a moisturizer with a hint of foundation. I only have moisturizer. Unfortunately I opened it up and was surprised to see that it was white with no base color. I've been using Olay CC Tone Correction for years and have ordered it. It was a different donor so I figured it just changed the look. Of course I opened the case and should keep it, but I'm not happy.

Sorry I wasted my money. I prefer Olay products but this deserves 0 stars. Does not soak in, but settles on the skin with a dark film. I am 63 years old, I have fair skin. There was no choice of foundation colors. The color was for medium to dark skin with a yellow undertone. My face looked sallow with uneven skin tone and every freckle/age spot looked darker and more visible.

Consistency: The cream is slippery and can be easily rinsed off. It's nice at the end of the day when I remove my makeup, but during the day I have to be careful not to rub the cream off my clothes/hands. It also makes my combination skin pretty smooth and oily. I haven't seen it work wonders for my acne. Opacity/Color: Doesn't cover much but evens out my skin tone. My skin looks more even with it than without it, but the difference isn't surprising or anything. The color is pretty dark for me.

I am 76 years old and started using it in my 50's and 60's before I found the foundation. I use my regular foundation before bed and throughout the day. Many say that I have no wrinkles. Whatever is in this product my skin looks great. I also noticed this on my daughter's dresser. She's very rich and can afford to buy any beauty products, but that's the only face cream I see on her dresser! I think I set a good example!

This is an interesting blend to use when you don't want to wear full makeup. It was heavier than a foundation-less moisturizer but would be great if you don't want to wear makeup but want super light coverage on your face. I didn't like the smell, for me it was different than the product without foundation. I usually just prefer a moisturizer, but I tried this one to see if it would be a good alternative when I don't want to wear makeup all over my face.

I like this product, it's light weight and goes on smoothly, but I have two complaints: 1) too much comes out of the pump so you hardly have to touch it, to get it the right amount. 2) It has no SPF and I just think any foundation and/or moisturizer should have at least SPF 30.

This is amazing. Needed something for the road. It seems dark at first but it's great. I have very fair skin and not orange.

I previously purchased this product but it is different. It claims to be a foundation, but that's not true. It's too dark and heavy. I have a fair complexion and had to add moisturizer to even it out. I then had to wipe some of the paint off with a cotton pad. My Hispanic friend could use this and I gave her the entire product.
