This little clock (actually a bit bigger than expected) is a feast for the eyes! I can't imagine why anyone would say it looks cheap. It's definitely grayer than the picture shows, but I knew either color would work for me. I'm including a photo of the back of the watch which was a pleasant surprise! My only problem right now is finding a place to enjoy both sides of the watch.

After reading the reviews for this clock I was a bit skeptical but decided to take a chance and order it. I'm so glad I did! It's a blue-grey like the customer photos, not a green cast like the photo, but I prefer the blue-grey tones because they match the color of my living room. I like that it's easy to read/see the time from across the room. I like the rustic look and the birds. Gray color, rustic aging effect makes it look old and interesting. The sound is perceptible. A clear ticking can be heard many feet away. Not a clock for a bedroom or quiet room. Best for other rooms.
