I'm not sure why people are so upset that they're a bit see-through, any disposable plastic tablecloth you can get at Walmart (etc) will be able to see through. The wine-red color hardly shows through, if that really bothers you, you should spend a little more money on fabric tablecloths.

There are fabric-textured plastics, and when I read about this tablecloth, I actually expected it to feel like velvet on one side (.you know.like a velvet Christmas ribbon). The name should be changed to Jet Black so as not to deceive. This product would have been fine but it came with huge line punctures that were quite deep in the reel. When it arrived I didn't have time to find a replacement and had to give credit and use what was salvaged from the reel for the party. My problem is that if I don't send the item back I can't get a refund. I threw away the damaged parts of the reel so I cannot return it. There is no way to email about it so I ran out half the roll for the party and now I have no money to return it.
