It's very nice and durable, but pleasantly light. I like that the surrounding wood is light in color, which also goes well with the design. One of the nicest trays I've ever had.

I needed a light knee brace so my elderly mother could hold a plate or bowl of food on her lap. It's easy to adapt to her sitting with the bottom of a bean bag. The floral pattern is pretty and decorative, making her feel special. Not just another "old man mod".

Nice, not too stuffy so it's easy to place on your lap. has a nice low rim to keep items from sliding off. Use for food, computer desk, small craft desk, writing (not much but works great) and bulk goods. if you just put it down on a chair - it looks good!

I only use this tray when I want to put my feet up and do crossword puzzles in newspapers. Perfect for my needs. Inexpensive. Easy to keep clean. I don't think I would dare use it to support a cup of coffee or a meal, but that's not what I bought it for.

This lap table isn't as good as my old one for adults. It's over 2 inches shorter in length, making the bottom of the table less stable in my lap and giving me less room to work. I can't put a glass of water on this tray with my laptop; not sufficiently stable or sufficiently spacious. My old one had to be replaced or I wouldn't have kept it. The edges are plastic and the lap table arrived with a slight dent. The top is very pretty and washes well.
