So many possibilities!

I've only made the Bargello quilt before, so this was my first experience with fancy rulers and sewing techniques. There is a slight learning curve with this ruler, but the YouTube tutorial and included instructions are very helpful. I look forward to making some new quilts and projects!

Pros
  • overall size 6-1/2" x 9-1/2"
Cons
  • boring wrapping

Impression Mot - Sew

The template's plastic cover and leader paper were torn and badly damaged. My husband was able to smooth out the edges of the stencil, but the direction of the paper is far from perfect. Part is unreadable. Having spent this amount of money on a small gauge/ruler I would expect it to be in better condition. This company was not impressed.

Pros
  • Make hundreds of Lazy Angle blocks from 1" to 6".
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Right-handers only. Opened before.

The product itself is as expected. I look forward to using it for quickly cutting blocks, although there are other options if you understand geometry and have a protractor. I only gave it 3 stars for the following: It's angled and marked right-handed only. I'm left handed and would expect something this expensive for materials to have labels for reading/cutting from either direction. Second, the instructions are minimal. I ordered the book that came with it, but without it, it would require…

Pros
  • It comes with fully illustrated step-by-step instructions or scan the QR code printed on the ruler for a video demo.
Cons
  • I don't remember
