Disappointing Adapter Converter for Lighting

According to my experience, the adapter converter was poorly made and did not fit securely. The phenolic material felt cheap and flimsy.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Poorly made, doesn't fit securely.

Expensive but what I needed

The $7 small harp saddle for the lamp was more than I expected but was great for replacing the lampshade of an IKEA lamp. I wish they were different colors but overall I was happy to find this because it was exactly what I needed.

Pros
  • The harp holders are 3" apart.
Cons
  • Crumpled Package

Fixed curved lampshade

I used to buy a lightbulb clip so I could use the lampshade I got from Anthropology on the base of the lamp I bought from Ikea (not compatible) and the lampshade was always crooked. Too bad I fixed the problem years ago. That would save me a lot of trouble. Anyway, this solved the lap harp problem in about 2 minutes. No more skewed lampshade.

Pros
  • Sturdy sheet steel construction is held securely to the lamp socket by a screw ring.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
