I spray painted them and they took the color really well. They were from Season 2 Valentine and they didn't move. And we had a lot of rain! They are lightweight and cut evenly. I would buy again.

The hearts are very well punched but the wood used is not a quality grade compared to the 2" cores I have purchased. The 3.5 inch hearts had grit streaks that interfered with printing on all hearts. I couldn't use all the ones I bought. If you plan to draw hearts, it doesn't affect using 3.5 inch hearts.

I ordered 24 of these heartwood carvings. Each of them had a huge company sticker on the back. It took me over 2 hours of unnecessary work to remove them. They couldn't be removed, I even tried nail polish remover. It was frustrating, chaotic work. I have a question for the company. Why would you stick one of those hard-to-remove stickers on the back of every cutout and expect them to be customer friendly? This defies logic. They are perfect for Valentine's Day or other heart crafts. The description is accurate. 12 is a good amount for a garland. The wood is thin and can easily break if you drill holes that you need to clamp between other boards or carefully (quickly) drill. The wood is also quite rough. We heavily colored the hearts and covered them with fabric, so it didn't really matter. If you repeatedly touch them, you will have to grind them down.
