A beautiful kettle that heats up SO FAST! It was a present for my mother and she loves it very much. So thankful to have found this wonderful article.

Looks great, very well made. The packaging was terrible, there were a few scratches, they also put a huge barcode sticker right on the side that didn't come off completely leaving the sticky residue I'm dealing with.

It does its job, but it's ugly. In just 3 months of life on our stove the blue paint started to peel and peel. Still boiling water. That's it. But like a child actor from the 1980s, the look is fading fast.

Kettle starts very well, easy to use and whistles loudly. However, after about 3 months of use and after the return period had expired, it started to leak at the bottom seam. When the pan is hot, water will seep through the seam and leave marks on the stove. There was also a rusty area around the leak. I would definitely not recommend this product.

I've used this kettle a few times. I love how quickly the water heats up. The whistle works great when the water is boiling. Loud enough to be heard across the room. The color is beautiful. I love it. The only thing is that it came in its box (meaning it wasn't packaged in anything else, just a box you could buy in a store) and was badly worn and wrinkled. The teapot itself had a small dent on the bottom rim, but this did not affect its function. Overall I was happy with it.

I'm a little disappointed with this chick because the lid is almost impossible to remove. It's hard enough when the pot is cold, but if you've recently boiled water and want to remove the lid to cook more, you'll have to use oven mitts and it really gets stuck in there. A couple of times I nearly burned myself from the water that spurted out when I finally managed to remove the lid. The inside of the pot has a very deep rim, otherwise the water may leak out and it will be difficult to clean…

After an unsuccessful search for everyone's favorite Lennox teapot (now out of stock) I found this 'duplicate' at Revain. Apparently this is an exact copy. (The comparison photo at right shows the copper original.) However, it is considerably lighter than the original and only time will tell its durability. I also had a copper colored kettle in my shopping cart but I found the price went up almost $25! I went with the much cheaper black version and am now glad I did. This is clearly a low…
