Hand tool manufacturer's warranty

The pads are different from my old pairs that have grown and gone legs. I'm not worried though as it comes with a lifetime warranty and is the reason I spent the extra money. Peace of mind and always worked until they left😎

The Best of Clamps

When it comes to tools there are a few brands that stand out and in my opinion Crescent is one of them. These are really good clamps, I have a few that I use for welding. You just can't have enough. They work every time and can take any abuse you throw at them.

Pros
  • Great Design
Cons
  • Poorly Thought Out

Check for straightness before use

I love the Crescent. They've always been a great tooling company. But. I just bought two of these clamp pliers and one of them was assembled askew, nearly a half inch! Very blank! The jaws do not converge at all. The other pair is perfect. Very unusual for a crescent.

Pros
  • Hand Tool
Cons
  • Prize Piggy Bank

I didn't like that they sent me an obviously used item after paying full price for it. Weld spatter adhering to the threads of the adjusting screw will make adjustment difficult. I decided to return to the Irwin brand. The second thing I didn't like about them is that their adjustment screw doesn't seem to have a metric or SAE thread. Since I wasn't "possibly" chasing after another thread, I decided to return it. Unlike the Irwin brand, they don't fold easily enough to remove the snap (link)…
