📏 Lufkin Shockforce 25 Inch Crescent Measure Review

Easy to read and well defined but the end tab wobbles horribly, 1/16th to 1/8th of the stroke when new. I buy new tape measures when the end tabs come loose, usually it happens when I let the tape retract all the way without stopping and the impact loosens the rivets. I have to take this play into account when removing the measure! I will no longer buy roulette by mail order! Buy these items at Mama's and Papa's hardware store where you can try them out!

These seem like really good tape measures. I don't know when Crescent bought Lufkin but I've had good luck with Lufkin straps in the past and these straps appear to be of the same quality. Easy to read. And yes, it will stretch 14 feet before wanting to break/fall. Additionally, these tapes have a grit on the hook that helps keep the hook on the hook. Everything around me is amazing. However, I'm not sure if they really glow in the dark or if they just need to be seen better in low light…
