Excellent goods!

The pencils have a nice color palette, more intense than my Sargents and blend better. Toilet pencils are so amazingly portable and will take me on vacation! I use them often and paint the tips of the "neck" with a wet brush - great for working out details.

Pros
  • Wooden pencils with lead
Cons
  • No Auto

Beautiful Translucent Colors

This was my first "real" kit when I decided to get something better than kid/student level without breaking my budget. Watercolor pencils are a medium that can be very frustrating if you don't invest in a quality product. Colors can be applied thickly and richly, they spread well when wet. They also add a water soluble graphite pencil so you can get a feel for how they work. The color choice is fairly balanced, but one less yellow or blue for some bluish lavender.

Pros
  • Stationery
Cons
  • Brief Instructions

Pretty colours, wet or dry

I really like pencils. They work fine. I've read that the colors wash out and clear with water, but I haven't had such a problem. I believe this can happen if a person uses too much water. The saturation of the color seems to depend on how heavily or lightly you apply the pencil. I have included photos of before and after water samples. There is actually no color change from dry to wet as you can see in the photos. What you see is largely what you get when you put it to paper. They leave a waxy

Pros
  • Writing and proofreading supplies
Cons
  • Expensive
