Pretty colours, wet or dry

I really like pencils. They work fine. I've read that the colors wash out and clear with water, but I haven't had such a problem. I believe this can happen if a person uses too much water. The saturation of the color seems to depend on how heavily or lightly you apply the pencil. I have included photos of before and after water samples. There is actually no color change from dry to wet as you can see in the photos. What you see is largely what you get when you put it to paper. They leave a waxy sheen until water is added. After wetting, the paint dries and becomes matte. I had no problems with pencil marks. They dissolve very well. although if you try, you can achieve it. Pencils arrived in excellent condition, sealed in plastic and sharpened. However, the box was damaged (see attached photos). Fortunately, this protected the pens. The can was wrapped in a thin, branded cardboard sleeve, but not sealed on the outside. I didn't return it as the pens were intact but due to the damaged tin I only gave 4 stars. I would recommend the brand. This is a fairly inexpensive option for quality pencils. They are not cheap, but they are much cheaper than other art quality watercolor pencils.
