I was able to sew a beautiful shirt for my niece with this portable iron. It actually works better than non-glossy materials for Cricut, but there are a few downsides. Glitter will appear on your ironing surfaces first. Can not do anything. But even when I transferred the lettering to the shirt with the iron, as I did with the non-shiny sheets of iron, some of the letters overheated and deformed a bit. Also, we lost a lot of glitter in the first wash, although the shirt retained enough to still

I got this for my wife when I recently bought her a Cricut (she kept her original 2006 printout in great shape so I bought her another one for no reason : ) ) .
