We bought these for our 2 year old. They are as cute as can be but I was hoping the strap would be in the forward position like regular Crocs. We left the straps on my 3 year old's Crocs on the front and it helped him take responsibility for putting on and taking off his own shoes. While these are very nice shoes they have a number of flaws that make me not recommend them. Firstly, the Velcro makes them difficult to put on for toddlers who don't want to stay in place for long. Partly that's because I ordered them to be my 12 month old's exact size - maybe it would be easier if I ordered a size up. However, the strap does not stretch at all. So when they fit perfectly you have to undo the strap to put them on and then it's very difficult to untie them if it's a kid's foot…
