D ring failure

I have used these D rings to make dog collars but would not recommend using them with a leash. The D-ring broke when my client was walking his dog with a leash attached to the collar. Her 50kg dog became aroused in place of the other dog and began to pull. The D-ring has loosened at the connection point and pulled away from the nylon yoke. See attached picture. I can only recommend these D-rings for decorative use.

Pros
  • Surprising
Cons
  • Some errors

1 " thin 1ft 2 " too thin to use

1" Not heavy duty or welded but they fit as advertised and work well for my purposes which other reviewers like. mainly intended for use on aprons and (small) purses. I'm sure I'll come up with other uses for them over time, March 2019 update. I ordered 1/2" thinking they were at least the same thickness as the 1" I had previously ordered. Unfortunately, this is not the case. 1/2" turns out to be a waste of money to me. I have no idea what I'm going to do with it. Thin, thin, thin.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

They are thin and just what I needed

The product arrived quickly as expected. This is a thinner D ring. It's not so thin that I could easily crush it with my fingers. But I wouldn't use it for leash hook-on dog collars. He can't handle that weight. If you're making a bag that doesn't carry much weight, or if it's a token-only ring (no leash), you should be fine. They were all shiny with no rust or other marks. All have been taken into account. This is what I was looking for for a project I'm working on.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors appeared
