They are good except the waist is too small so you need to go up 1-2 sizes. They are quite thick, wash well and look good on my son except they are really too tight. They're fine for occasional wear until it gets too cold for shorts, but not for the next season.

Bought these for my son who is 80lbs, 5ft 2in and 12 years old. They fit but are very narrow at the waist. Now you can wear it at home, but I think that for a few more months, especially at such a pace as it's growing now. All the details are sewn correctly, the pockets are wonderful, the material is dense. Nice soft and thick. I recommend 2x the size. when available.

After my son maintained the same waist size for about 2 years, my son finally outgrew his shorts. We live in the south, so shorts are almost year-round wear for us. They looked cute and practical and the price was right. They are comfortable and soft. You get 2 side pockets, 2 cargo pockets and then a drawstring waistband. The fabric is soft but strong enough. They're not the prettiest inside, but who cares?
