Short Fun Cross Stitch Project

I haven't crocheted in years and this was the perfect project to start over. Threads of every color were in abundance. Only four stars because the border seam in the instructions does not match the one shown in the example. I found instructions for this somewhere else.

Great for beginners but not enough yarn

Everything was great until I got to the pink yarn. There's plenty of yarn left over for most other colors, which is great if you mess something up. But for some reason the length of the pink yarn was much shorter and it wasn't enough for me to knit the hem of her shirt :( I have to improvise!

Pretty cool in counted kits

It was a lot of fun. I will rate myself at an average level. I have never made a frame and the instructions were only helpful for framing the picture. Mostly I had to learn by trial and error, so it looks weird in places. After I was done I was left with quite a long rope. It turned out very nice. Took me about 12 hours.

Fun quick project best crafted

, I haven't embroidered in a while and this was the perfect kit to reignite my interest! It wasn't too difficult and it was fun to see how quickly everything fell into place. I had to brush up on a few things with additional YouTube videos (the ones on the company's website are pretty good, but not enough for a near-newbie). I've already bought 2 more sets of these to make the next one!

You have to draw the design on the fabric yourself!

I bought this for my daughter and thought it would be a fun project that she would make herself. There is no pattern on the canvas. This is not possible for a newbie. It would be difficult even for me. You need to carefully draw the design yourself! I can't return it now as I bought it a while ago and was waiting to give it to her for her birthday, otherwise I would happily do it
