The main display is really good and on its lowest setting it's dark enough not to disturb your sleep at night but still bright enough to be seen will. The thermometer reads correctly. I was looking for a projection clock that was easy to use and worked the way I wanted. I bought 4 of these watches and sent them back. Excellent time projection. You can adjust the brightness (4 levels) or turn it off (press the projection/rotation button on the right). For me, the darkest setting can only be seen if I'm dark adjusted at 7ft (the numbers appear to be 9" high, the lightest setting is clearly visible on the opposite wall at 25ft).
