Great solution for eye protection

These are my first pair of bifocals and they have exceeded my expectations. The lower area is blurry to be viewed from afar, but it's small enough for me to ignore. If I then want to know the day on my watch, the 1.5x magnification is perfect for me. The lenses are a bit darker than I wanted and this may limit nighttime use. But otherwise I love them and expect to wear them all day, every day.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • No Automatic

Mirrored or not mirrored?

Order: CrossFire Crossfire Es5 1.5d Glasses with Brown Frame Brown Mirrored Lenses Catalog description. Seems to match what the Crossfire webpage says. The Crossfire webpage for part 29117 indicates a mirrored lens, adding to the confusion.

Pros
  • Safety
Cons
  • Rumped

You really do look like Maui Jim. They are extremely light. The hue is great in the rain which may come in handy as we expect Cindy to land in a few days so there will be nothing but rain for a while. I usually hold glasses pretty well, but I might order a few more pairs just in case. I also bought two pairs of models with black and smoked lenses and a third pair with black and smoked polarized lenses. I'm not sure if they polarize this shade, but if they do I'll probably order a pair as well.

Pros
  • Eye protection
Cons
  • Very expensive
