Just worked on the drive train and transmission

Installed on my Wrangler over 6 months ago and is still holding up well. A little fiddly to install, but it's the FCA's fault.

Pros
  • Lasting finish
Cons
  • Long delivery time

This bushing is a known defective JK/JKU part.

This bushing is a known faulty part on the Wrangler JK/JKU and I have a pair in the glove box for the transfer case switch bushings. This is a direct replacement for failed factory jacks.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Faulty

Will not fit Jeep JK transmission on body

4 Wheel Parts says this will fit Jeep JK transmission on underside of truck... THIS WILL NOT FIT. Why doesn't Crown (Mopar) have a replacement for this idiotic Chrysler design? Use the secondary market

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • So far so good

Fits 2006 Jeep Liberty KJ Transfer Case

Perfect Fit. It fits perfectly in my 2006 Jeep Liberty KJ with 3.7L engine and 4WD automatic transmission. The swap took less than 15 minutes, including jacking up, attaching jacks, and lowering. A little push with the crowbar and it clicked immediately. Very few tools were required to remove the old bushing and install the new one.

Pros
  • Consistent Test Results
Cons
  • Not Sure

2009 Jeep Wrangler JKU

2009 Jeep Wrangler JKUB The bushing under the Jeep broke causing the shifter to not work (meaning it was stuck in reverse and I couldn't manually move it to shift to park or drive jeep from inside). I had to let go of the link and dangle it (draw upside down) for easier access. I put the bushing in the hole and squeezed it with pliers. A month later and it's still working perfectly. Don't let anyone talk you into replacing the entire shift linkage, that's not necessary. I also bought extra ones

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • all right

Exactly the part I needed, very cheap and worked great

I needed this part badly! Luckily the hub failed while my '08 Wangler was in the garage. I've searched the internet and found this to be the part I need. I went to Extended Auto, Autozone and Napa and none of them stocked this exact part. I contacted my local Jeep dealership and they wanted $20! I got this part in the mail today, got under the jeep and after a few minutes digging up the old part I put it back in the linkage and back into the transfer case. Voila! Problem solved, works great…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Nothing
