2009 Jeep Wrangler JKUB The bushing under the Jeep broke causing the shifter to not work (meaning it was stuck in reverse and I couldn't manually move it to shift to park or drive jeep from inside). I had to let go of the link and dangle it (draw upside down) for easier access. I put the bushing in the hole and squeezed it with pliers. A month later and it's still working perfectly. Don't let anyone talk you into replacing the entire shift linkage, that's not necessary. I also bought extra ones to keep in the glove box along with the pliers I used. The first time it broke on the street. and a friend had a spare, the second time backing into my driveway, who knows where it will be next. does not fit and I have to replace the entire shift linkage.
