Very good power supply

I am a very picky consumer. I bought a few extensions from Revain that didn't meet my needs. Build quality was poor, outlets were loose, and wire connections were difficult. This extension is very good. The UL listing is the first thing you should go through. I installed this strip under my sit and stand desk so the cables hang upside down and this strip holds them in place. The 15 inch cable is perfect as I don't use extension cords. I am glad that such a product exists at an affordable price.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Good Quality - Power Strips

Good quality, solid construction, mounting brackets included. The contacts in the sockets are good and tight; I installed it upside down under the table and it holds the forks securely; even the "wall warts" conversion plugs fit pretty well and don't slip out. So many other cheap power strips have cheap plugs that won't snag on the plug. Time will tell if these solid plugs hold up over the long term, but in my case this shouldn't be used frequently for plugging and unplugging, so I expect it to

  • Free for educational purposes

Just what I needed - Power Splitter

I ended up buying a couple of these splits to reorganize my home theater's power wiring. The form factor and included brackets allowed me to screw the power distribution panels to the back of the case and secure the many power cords. Now all I have to do is connect two long cords to the wall instead of a mass of cords going to overloaded power strips. The aluminum body is of good quality and strong enough for the purpose. The plugs fit well and I consider this a feature so that the cables don't

Received a lemon but the replacement works fine

I was looking forward to getting rid of an octopus that had started to grow out of my garage's only outlet. However, after I mounted this strip, everything immediately went wrong. Power appeared and then disappeared for no reason. I eventually traced it back to some kind of break in the connection near the connector end of the strip. Unless it's ready to use out of the box, I doubt it'll last long in a real workspace. Obviously "hard work" does not mean quality. Update: I returned the product…

Attached to a wooden table

I attached this to the back of my wooden table - I share my office and our two tables are back to back in the middle room. This has allowed me to reduce the cables for two computers to a single cable that plugs into the wall. All the other cables for our setups (2 laptops, 2 lights, 1 docking station, 3 monitors) are plugged into this, and I also have a small power strip for phone chargers on my desk. This made a big difference in terms of organization and accuracy. It came with all the…

Poorly assembled, risk of fire finding something else.

After receiving this strip I was both pleased and confused by the length of the cable. It's sooooo long which would be great for some but too long for my needs so I decided to shorten the length of the cable and I'm glad I did. When I opened the strip I was shocked to see that with very, very little movement the neutral solder/weld joint broke. On closer inspection, the common wire coming out of the switch is literally a pin that slides into the gap of a thin brass connector and is not "fixed"…

Pros
  • nice little thing

  • reliability
