I attached this to the back of my wooden table - I share my office and our two tables are back to back in the middle room. This has allowed me to reduce the cables for two computers to a single cable that plugs into the wall. All the other cables for our setups (2 laptops, 2 lights, 1 docking station, 3 monitors) are plugged into this, and I also have a small power strip for phone chargers on my desk. This made a big difference in terms of organization and accuracy. It came with all the hardware that needed to be installed right on my desk. The only thing I agree with is that the mounting bracket was tricky to attach and I actually had to use a hammer to get it where it was supposed to be. All in all a good experience, I would buy again!
