American Quality Power Strips and Surge Protectors

Great quality for the money, I deliberately avoid Chinese made power sources so this works great. It's safe, protects your belongings from power surges, and is very well made.

solid and well built

It has a total of 7 connection points with the 7th being separate from the rest giving you room to connect a larger unit if required. Very durable and has a mounting plate on the back if you want to mount it.

Surge Protector Great Heavy Duty

I wanted to buy cheaper but I read several reviews that it does not protect against surges and fire. So I started looking for something heavy and this is great for the price. It looks premium and durable without being too heavy or bulky. It gave me peace of mind by placing it under our new electric theater section. Exactly what I needed at a reasonable price.

Not Heavy Duty!: Power Strips & Surge Protectors

This is not a Heavy Duty Surge Protector. It flew out the first time I used it and tripped our switch! There was also a loud bang and a few sparks. I only had one device plugged in, my treadmill, and it wasn't even turned on. I used to use a basic Revain surge protector to power my treadmill and never had a problem but figured I should start using something heavy duty so I bought this one. But not only didn't it work, it scared me! I'm not sure if it's defective, but I plan to return it.

It's not easy to mount and the connectors are too close together but other than that it's good

You can theoretically wall mount this but they don't even include a template for the mounting holes on the underside that would be pretty tricky, and anyway that only works on a vertical, not on a horizontal installation. It's much easier to just drill holes in the top and bottom of the unit and screw in that way, although drilling a hole in the top of the unit is a bit more difficult but doable. Also, you shouldn't use this if you need to connect multiple power supplies because, unlike most…
