I've bought at least a dozen of these motorcycle licenses. I found some lightweight plastic at a craft store and made a frame for a golf cart license plate to register the cart with our community. Easily attaches to the back of a golf cart and is ideal for displaying a four digit number. People like them because they keep calling me and asking for more.

The finish quality was terrible, there were obvious sanding marks on the metal and they only chromed the sanding lines, BAD preparation especially on the corners. For $7 you can keep it if the bare label makes you uglier, but I'm far more proud of the way my Harley looks than what people see as obvious cheap junk on it. I think just throw it.

This frame is die cast and has good strength and weight. The holes line up well with my plate and the mounting holes on my bike. Chrome has strange lines. It is clearly visible from afar. But when you get closer, the lines look like scratches, like they've been brushed with steel wool. Up close they either look like sanding marks showing through the chrome or like they've been brushed with chrome paint and those are brush strokes.

What can I say about the license plate frame. I was looking for a chrome that has a legal keeper (does not block regulatory numbers, letters, decals etc) that is well made and at a great price and I stumbled across this frame! I'm glad I bought it because it's really good. Nicely sealed in the packaging and NO scratches, stains, discoloration etc. For the price you can't go wrong! I would recommend this frame to anyone who needs a nice chrome frame for their motorcycle tag.
