All are translucent, but the price is acceptable. does not lose legibility. Don't waste your money putting it on your rear license plate unless you're backing up. Being transparent, you're unlikely to be stopped by the law as they don't severely obstruct your view.

They match perfectly the stainless steel license plate frames I bought and they certainly look like a quality product with no defects and they were well packaged and protected from surface scratches. I'm very satisfied with this product. I only put the number plates on that day but everything went smoothly and they look great.

Doesn't go well with my number plate, looks like it was made for the number to fit nicely in the back where there is a cut out for the number plates to fit in the home. Instead it sits on top of the license plate with a gap between them caused by the walls of the recess. I gave 2 stars because otherwise it looks good quality and I still used it under a different anti-theft frame. I also wish it only had the top two screw holes.

After using cheaper cases and finding tears the next morning I would not use any other tag cases. It has been in the car for about a month with no deterioration from the subtropical heat or other issues, still looks new. Made from polycarbonate material, like many eyeglass lenses that are also used as safety goggles because they do not shatter and can withstand impacts without damage. A good thing.

As written in previous reviews, the product is quite thin which isn't too bad although it feels expensive for a product; Also, the visor doesn't cover the license plate, so the edges of the frame fit against the license plate instead of surrounding it to better protect it from the weather (that wasn't a problem for my purposes).
