CRUX CUL 03 Universal Mount Camera Review

I installed it professionally and it died on the tenth day. If it worked, it was a good picture. Once installed it looked amazing on the back of my Camaro. Unfortunately, it was an unsuccessful object.

Had trouble installing this camera, I've bought it before and when it works the camera is amazing but I think this one was DOA . The downside was that I already had all the cables routed through the machine, so I had to work twice as hard to get them out.

It's heavy and doesn't look like cheap plastic, but the camera feels cheap. Not sure if it's the lack of IR or just the camera, but I've ordered a rear camera with IR and will see how it works. Camera.

Excellent reversing camera. It has good image quality and works well in all lighting conditions. This is a wide angle image (e.g. Fisheye or GoPro type) and therefore you will get an image that covers the area from your rear bumper to well above horizontal in the vertical plane. Relatively easy to install and set up, although instructions are poor (there are a few installation/setup videos on YouTube which I'd recommend watching first). [Update: 2019-08-07] Thought I'd upgrade this to 4/5 stars (up from 3/5) simply because it's been working great for over 1.5 years. Use it in our 2010 Civic. Resolution is good and low light performance is very good. Yes, the angle is limited, but it's still okay as it's very useful for parallel parking as we park our car in front of our house on Seattle's crowded residential streets.
