Description of ๐Ÿ”ฅ Cryorig Ultimate Tower Heatsink: Unmatched Cooling Power for Intel CPUs

CPU Cooler. Air Cooling. *Total Height 168.3mm Width 142mm Depth 140mm. Please check with your case manufacturer for CPU Cooler Clearance Height. DirectCompress Soldering for 10% more contact surface compared to traditional soldering, and the more contact surface the faster the heat conduction. Great big air cooler. Expensive.

Expensive like Noctua D15. Is it just as good? Fits snugly, within 1-2C. But without the ugly brown-beige fans. This is a huge air cooler and very easy to install. The fans are louder than the Noctua when running at 1000rpm+. I don't think that many fans come close to Noctua fans in terms of price/performance/noise ratio. BeQuiet Silent Wings 3 is getting closer, but Noctuas is still better. If your end goal is cooling, use Noctuas. If you need "looks", get Cryorig. It gets too expensive if you

Best air cooler for the money

To be honest amazing cooler and extremely easy to install. Note for AM4 users: You can just use the stock cooler's backplate instead of buying it from Cryorig. Running the R5 2600 at 4.1GHz, I'm sitting in the 40-50 range in games (using a graphite IC pad instead of paste). Also, it's a lot easier to install outside the case, so remove the motherboard (unless you want to be stubborn). If you remove the center fan, assembly becomes even easier. Without headphones, my Evolv X is very quiet, Iโ€ฆ

Big black beautiful cooler.

This is a big, big cooler. I didn't expect it to be that high. I had to ditch my 200mm fan to make room for this beast. I haven't overclocked my new i5-6600k yet because I'm giving the Arctic Silver 5 time to do its thing, but for now the CPU in my CM HAF XB Evo keeps it around 50C and running at max power. Looks freaking AMAZING! The only thing that would make it better is if they sold it with a colored fan mount/squelch or whatever they call it. The only complaint that got one star is theโ€ฆ

Cons
  • You could choose a newer model
