For durability can't comment but these were very well received: 10 of these were then sold for what our local HD charges for two. Second check: WARNING - two of these blew up within 2-3 weeks. I suspect they don't fit in a display case like ours where they stand like a jam jar in a vertical glass display case. I'm trying to display them without the glass. We will see

This is junk. Ordered August 2016, I have used four of these to replace a bulb in a fixture of 12. All but one of the original bulbs are still on, 1.5 years old. Once installed, these bulbs are significantly brighter and the longest lifespan is around four weeks. The last one I replaced last week died tonight. I never touched the glass and used styrofoam to remove the bulb and insert it into the socket, so I think they were made for lower voltage use than 120v. They are burned black. I ask…

At first I liked them so much I bought them twice bought. They lasted a few months but were really bright and I felt they were worth it for the price. However, they do have a pathological downside that I didn't notice at first - the pins seem too thin to make good contact. inside the socket. And over time they seem to be falling apart (the cables look like they're rusting to dust where they touch the socket pins). To make matters worse, it appears to be affecting outlets as well.
