It took forever to install, the secret is that there are a lot of panels.

Took forever to install, the secret is pour plenty of dish soap into the upper and lower channels, then take a hammer and a small pry bar or a large screwdriver and hammer the top lip turn the entire spring by inserting a long cross or tool through the nearest hole and the opposite hole at the same time, and push/twist the entire spring and hammer into the tab, and continue until the top tab is fully inserted. Wow, I notice the difference when I ride a little stiffer in the rear.

easy to install and works

I used it for rav4 adventure 2019. So easy to install even for a complete beginner with mechanical issues doing it for the first time. All you have to do is lift the wheels high enough for the springs to hang freely, then bolt the sumo down with some lube. The difficulty can be in raising the wheels high enough. I used a concrete block for a jack. . Also make sure you don't have a jack on any of the wheel components. I used ramps under the wheels to keep the car from falling on me if the jack…

OK, better ratings on dampers, struts and suspension

I installed them on my 2018 Subaru Outback, they went in pretty easily. I use my car as a work vehicle and carry 600 pounds of tools in the back. With the rear seat folded down, the tool's (and me's) weight is evenly distributed and less than the 900-pound total vehicle weight that Subaru claims. These spring inserts gave me a 1/4 inch increase in rear ride height. I searched for more and ended up with spacers on the top brackets of the C-pillars. I didn't want to use stiffer springs as the…

Don't ride harder Much to our luck!

I decided to install them on my 2014 Honda CRV 2WD rather than do it myself. They occupied the store in less than an hour. The first day of riding I rode on rough roads. Those coil spring helpers didn't make the ride stiff enough to feel uncomfortable. (which bothered me a lot). The ride height looks reasonable and allows for smooth braking. Haven't tested with a full internal load and my cargo binding yet, but will provide an update when I do. But so far I'm very happy with the results of the…

18 Honda CR-V Needs Specialist Help

Well, I got them a week ago, all with pleasure, I broke the jack and jacks, the air compressor. The CR-V coils aren't "hanging free," they're still limited by the lengthening of the shock and trailing arm. There was more to take off than my 55 year old back could handle on my garage floor. I could do it, but I know how I would feel after grumbling for an hour or so. So I took it to Brake Masters, showed them what I wanted, and after $90 my back felt great. They feel good in corners and rain…
