Very easy to install. My protector was initially overheated. It turned out that the factory light bulb exploded, and the fragments fell into the fan that was cooling the light bulb. A blast of compressed air and I'm back in business. This is a great lamp for the money. Arrived in two days during Covid19! Significantly brighter than the factory lamp with almost 4000 hours on it.

Update - the replaced bulb works fine.——————The bulb burned out 3 minutes after I connected it to the device. I am very experienced in changing lightbulbs and I know all the do's and don'ts. It was just a bad unit. I put the old bulb back in (I replaced it before) and the projector is working perfectly again.

The replacement lamp assembly came well packaged with foam padding and foam nuts. It fit perfectly and was better than the original as the mounting screw was captive (my projector is installed upside down so the original screw got lost on the floor when I removed the original lamp). The image was bright as it should be and although I've only used the new lamp for two hours so far I'm very satisfied.

This lamp lasted about 6 weeks before it failed. It failed while I was watching a movie and the projector turned on the red error light. Revain said that's not their return window, but the company will certainly honor a 90-day return policy. I contacted them and they asked me to check things that cannot be checked with a broken lamp and not follow their own return policy. My original lightbulb blew out just before the NFL championship games. I ordered this one and it arrived in two days. There is a fin on the side that had to be adjusted to match the original block, but this is easily done by hand and took two seconds. The device fits perfectly with my Benq HT1075. I just installed this lamp and so far so good. If you're like me, you've heard firsthand how terrible this projector lamp market is. I had to send back three defective bulbs from different manufacturers before this one worked. I gave it four stars out of five because I could smell heated metal after a few minutes of use, which wasn't present with the previous lamp. Let's see how this lightbulb stands the test of time.
