Like all these straps to date, they don't lock properly. Although it is slightly tapered (unlike previous generations), the back end of the taper where the leather attaches to the belt does not taper and will snag on the belt loops. So this belt is equal to 50%. It's easier to get the belt loops through (although the taper is still not good enough), but you can't pull them back out. I have bought several of these belts. Although they look very beautiful, they "grow" in length over time. They stretch but don't fully return to their original length. I originally bought XXL. When they got too long I bought a pair of XLs. Now that they stretch too, next time I'll buy bigger ones. If I decide to try again.

Belt worn daily for about 1 1/2 years. Still holds strong as new, no fading or stretching. Would buy again. I love that you have unlimited ways to resize, not just a few options.

Overall I am happy with this belt and this is the second one I have bought. However, the size is oversized. I have a 32 waist and bought the medium for the first time because the size chart said so. It was a little big and after two years it had stretched too much to use. This time I got a small one and it fits well.

I love this belt! I'm a big guy but have been on a diet lately and this belt is perfect for that. Since my height changes with weight loss, I don't have to cut extra holes or change the belt until it's so long you need to wrap it halfway around your waist a second time. This belt is also very durable and attractive, not to mention super cheap. There aren't many great treasures these days, but this belt is definitely one of them!
