they are just too tight to sleep with my long thick wavy hair. If I wrap it twice? It's too tight. Just once is too many. I bought them for this purpose only. However, I am satisfied with them because they will not spend. I still use them.

Someone else said so in a review that confirmed my opinion of this product: The satin part is great but I bought this product with the intention of getting something gentle on my hair . I didn't understand that this is a satin covering an elastic band (my own fault for not reading the product description carefully). I use it but don't double the hold so it doesn't pull on my hair (anymore).

Don't use these elastic bands for wearing, use them to stretch and style your hair day or night. They are perfect for your natural hair toolbox. During the day I could use 2 just to have some loose afro puffs when I'm relaxing or doing housework. I sometimes split into 4 or 5 for washing and stretching or at night.

My hair is just below my shoulders. They are medium sized, secure enough and don't slip when inflated, colors are versatile, feels well made, you get two of each color. With the smaller size, you probably won't need to twist at all (reducing wrinkles), but they can also easily wrap around the bun with very little stretch. So far they don't look like they will stretch easily or lose elasticity like other store bought brands. They appear to be very well made.

I really liked these hair bands. They are very silky so they don't stick to the hair. The main problem with them is that two of them only put them on after the stitching or threads start to unravel. It's not a bad thing that they can't be worn, but I don't want anything ripping with just one use. It could just be a defect/fault in the ones I bought. I haven't worn them all yet, so these might be the only two I've worn so far.

I love the colors of these hair ties! I also don't think they were cheap or rubber. I wear them on my curly hair every night before I go to bed and I use them on messy bun days or in cute half down styles!

I have naturally curly hair. I used to use regular hair ties to style my hair, but after a while I noticed that I had a lot of hair breakage (broken hairs that were attached to the hair tie). So I decided to use them and MAN made a difference! I no longer see glitches, which is great! I also like that they come in neutral colors.

Exactly as shown. I've been using very similar cotton hair ties for over a year, but after these things even they seem to cling to my hair. They're good and safe for me, but they don't break my hair. They look cute and one of the shades is pretty close to my hair color although I prefer black and ivory. Inside you'll feel what looks like an ordinary hair tie or rubber band, but so far none of those have snapped on me.
