Cons
  • Almost everything included

You must have Gigabit or faster internet

This is a MUST if you have Gigabit or faster internet. Most network cards and built-in Ethernet ports run just under a gigabyte and are unstable if there are defects in the cable. Before I got this card, my speeds varied between 500 and 900 Mbps using a CAT5E cable. After switching to CAT 8 cable and this 2.5Gbps NIC, I'm getting consistent speeds of over 1300Mbps. will be fine.

  • Computer Components
Cons
  • Update Availability

Works as described in Computers and accessories

Very easy to install, works as described. I haven't actually tested it, but I can get gigabit internet speeds. Is it worth the money to me?

Pros
  • Network cards

Worth the money good for computer components

I have a gig speed service from Comcast and in the last 6-9 months my speed test results have fallen from 900+ MB/s to under 450 MB/s on the computer. Since the router's speed test still showed 800 Mbit/s, I started replacing the Cat 6 cable on the PC. When this brought only a small improvement, I ordered this network card to replace the MOBO port on a PC. Installation was very easy. Win10 recognized and installed the Realtek driver at boot. I updated to the correct driver and checked the…
